OHA SOUP

INGREDIENT : ,Oha leaves (2 Handful) ,Cocoa yam (thickener) or 5 tablespoon of grinded achi ,Meats ,Ogiri ,Smoked cat fish ,Ground crayfish ,1 big Stock fish head ,30cl of palm oil ,Salt ,Seasoning cube
STEP 1 : Wash the cocoa yam properly. Boil it with enough water till it is soft. Peel the back with a knife and pound the cocoyam until it is smooth. You can either buy grinded achi in the market for alternative thickener.
STEP 2 : Wash the stock fish and smoked cat fish with water and salt. Then soak them in hot water in a different plates.
STEP 3 : Remove the Oha leaves from the stem and shred the leaves with your hand.
STEP 4 : Boil meat with curry, thyme, seasoning cubes and salt for about 30 minutes. Add the stock fish and cat fish and allow to boil for another 10 minutes.
STEP 5 : Add palm oil, crayfish, ogiri, salt, seasoning cube, dry pepper and salt. Mix properly and allow to boil for another 5 minutes.

STEP 6 : Then add the thickener, Mix properly and allow the thickener to dissolve in the soup. Then allow to boil for like 3 minutes.
STEP 7 : Then add the oha leaves. Allow to boil for another 2 minutes.
STEP 8 : Your Oha soup is ready. Serve with any swallow
